Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said the BJP will respond to the Opposition’s challenge by taking the government’s development work, welfare schemes and achievements directly to people across Goa. The BJP launched a month-long outreach programme on September 17 to strengthen communication with citizens and highlight its governance initiatives. Sawant said the government follows a transparent approach and will address misinformation by presenting its work before the people.
BJP to Take Government Work to People
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said the BJP will reach citizens across Goa and explain the government’s development programmes and welfare schemes. He said the government continues to focus on infrastructure development and human-resource development.
“The infrastructure and human-resource development undertaken by the double-engine government are there for everyone to see,” CM Sawant said.
He added that BJP workers will connect with people from Canacona to Pernem and explain the benefits of various government initiatives. The outreach will give citizens an opportunity to learn more about schemes and development projects implemented by the government.

CM Sawant Responds to Opposition Challenge
CM Sawant’s remarks came after Goa Forward Party president Vijai Sardesai said the Goa Forward Party and the Aam Aadmi Party had formally allied. Sardesai said the alliance would expose the BJP government in the coming days.
Responding to the Opposition challenge, Sawant said the BJP would communicate directly with people through its outreach programme. The party will use the campaign to highlight the government’s work and explain its development and welfare initiatives.
BJP Outreach Drive From September 17 to October 17
The BJP began its month-long outreach campaign on September 17 and will continue it until October 17. During the campaign, party workers will visit communities across Goa and engage with citizens.
The programme will focus on government schemes, welfare initiatives and development work. The BJP also plans to strengthen communication between its organisation, the government and citizens through the campaign.
The outreach comes as political parties prepare to intensify their activities in Goa. The BJP plans to use direct public engagement to present its governance record and explain ongoing development initiatives.
Seva Sankalp Abhiyan to Mark PM Modi’s Birthday
CM Sawant also said the BJP will mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday through the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan. The party will conduct the campaign for one month and use various outreach activities to highlight development initiatives under the double-engine government.
The Chief Minister also responded to questions about the Congress party’s Rashtriya Yatra and the newly announced GFP-AAP alliance.
“Let the Congress and the GFP-AAP alliance do whatever they want,” CM Sawant said.
The BJP’s month-long outreach campaign will now take its message directly to citizens across Goa, with the party focusing on development work, welfare schemes and its governance initiatives.
