Goa is set for a major employment push, with Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant announcing that the state government aims to create 6,000 to 8,000 new jobs over the next six months, with the Goa Human Resource Development Corporation (GHRDC) driving the initiative.
Addressing the 80th Independence Day celebrations at the Old Secretariat in Panaji, Dr. Pramod Sawant said job creation remains a key priority for the state government and that efforts will continue to expand employment opportunities for Goa’s youth.
According to the Chief Minister, more than 5,000 youth are currently working through the GHRDC, which has emerged as an important avenue for employment generation in the state.
