The landmark has earned the distinction of being India’s Tallest Installed Bronze Sculpture of Lord Shree Ram, bringing national recognition to one of Goa’s prominent spiritual destinations.

A New Record for Goa
The magnificent Lord Shree Ram sculpture at Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math has achieved a significant national distinction, adding another landmark to Goa’s rich spiritual and cultural landscape.
The sculpture was officially recorded in the India Book of Records on August 19, 2026, recognising it as India’s Tallest Installed Bronze Sculpture of Lord Shree Ram.
The recognition places Partagali in the national spotlight and further highlights the cultural importance of Canacona as a destination for spirituality, heritage and religious tourism.

Unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi
The magnificent sculpture was unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 28, 2025, during the 550th-year celebrations of the Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math.
The Prime Minister’s visit marked an important occasion for the historic institution and its devotees. During the visit, he also inaugurated the Ramayana Theme Park Garden developed by the Math and released a special postal stamp and commemorative coin marking the occasion.
The installation of the Lord Shree Ram sculpture has since become a major attraction at Partagali, drawing attention to the Math’s centuries-old spiritual heritage.

A Landmark of Goa’s Spiritual Heritage
